Last week, we held our 7th and final OptiVisT Workshop, brilliantly organized by our consortium members from the
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam — and what an incredible job they did! 🙌
The workshop was packed with highlights, including:
✨ ESRs presenting the outstanding work they've accomplished over the past three years.
✨ A fun and competitive Goalball play.
✨ Engaging talks on peer-review processes, sharing "favorite mistakes" in science, and insightful discussions on follow-up grants.
✨ A business pitch by the OptoCure team.
✨ An inspiring presentation by a Paralympic athlete.
✨ The iBBA symposium: "Gaze behaviour in daily life: functional, social, and clinical perspectives."
✨ And, last but not least: the PhD defence of our first OptiVisT ESR! Huge congratulations to Dr.
Andrea Ghiani on this amazing achievement! 🎓👏
Thank you all for making this event a success and for your incredible contributions throughout the program. Though this was our last official workshop, let’s promise that this isn’t goodbye but just the start of many future collaborations. 🌟
