ESR Mehal Rathore and Peter Reddingius of CITY University Londen together published an article in TVST
In the paper, they validated the use of smartglasses "Eyecatcher 3.0" in both normally sighted adults and glaucoma patients. Their results concluded that smart glasses were a feasible means of monitoring in our cohort, with clinical results comparable to the clinical visual field analysis and were acceptable to patients. ESR Anna Bøthun of Rigshospitalet Copenhagen published an article in BMC Ophthalmology
In the paper, they investigated the frequency and associated factors of preoperative visual field defects in pediatric brain tumor patients. They showed that visual field defects are common in children with brain tumors but may go undetected due lack of symptoms, findings, unreliable testing methods, or poor general health.
